Peter and Brenda Duncombe stayed with us for a few days all the way from Australia !
Peter is an historian and was visiting his ancestral home at Duncombe Park near Helmsley, while promoting his new book entitled "Great Goldsmith: The Life of Sir Charles Duncombe" by Peter Duncombe. It is in hard back with over 300 pages containing some 53 illustrations. Available at Duncombe Park shops and in
Helmsley.
Mr and Mrs Brierley came for one night but liked it
so much that they stayed all week and are looking forward to a return trip.
Their comment was that they wouldn't bother looking for anywhere else now
they know that we are here!!!
